This technique roots back to early pioneers in which each stitch done by hand in a way that entire thread serpentines two times through the layers of leather which ensure longevity because it stays intact even when a thread breaks.
The technique used in designing this artisan finesse is termed as pyrogravure which is the art of decorating with burn marks resulting from the controlled application of a heated poker often termed as "Writing with Fire".
This artisian technique compresses the leather fibers and seals the edge against moisture providing not only a rich look and feel tbut also illuminate colors of leather.
